Eric Brandt

Eric Brandt has more than 30 years of experience in consumer, commercial, and group benefits lines of business. He is currently President, Second Horizon Solutions, LLC which is a consultancy practice dedicated to helping people use technology to solve problems for customers and society.
 

Brandt has been the head of claims at Allstate, Esurance, Fireman’s Fund and The Hartford. Prior to that he held roles of increasing responsibly at Progressive Casualty. His focus on operational excellence has been consistently technology driven and customer focused.

Brandt earned his BS in Insurance from the Smeal College of Business at Penn State University. In his spare time, he works with non-profits solving societal issues such as access to higher education, equity, and excess mortality rates.
