Dr. Chris Young

Dr. Young is a seasoned leader with decades of experience in training and organizational development. Drawing on 30 years as a Firefighter/EMT and 20+ years in pastoral counseling, as well as over a decade in the claims industry. Dr. Young brings a people-first perspective to training, dispute resolution, and team development. He leads Ampion Academy, where he designed the intensive programs that power Ampion Group’s “special forces” approach to complex claims and quality execution. In addition to directing Ampion Academy’s education series and Appraisal 101 career trainings, he oversees HR and recruiting to ensure that Ampion’s culture of excellence is reflected in every client interaction. Dr. Young holds a Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) from Jacksonville Baptist Theological Seminary, along with multiple certifications from both the emergency services and insurance sectors. Dr. Young also volunteers as Dean of Ridge Bible Institute in Winter Haven, FL, where he advances rigorous, ministry-focused education.
