SHAWN JOHNSON

In his role, Shawn provides Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP) guidance and policy support to Verisk’s clients.  Shawn has nearly a decade of experience handling Medicare conditional payment, Section 111 reporting, and Medicare Set Aside (MSA) matters, with particular expertise in complex Medicare conditional payment issues and handling claims that have been referred to the Department of Treasury for collection.  Prior to joining Verisk, Shawn worked for a law firm where he represented clients applying for Social Security Disability benefits.
 
Shawn has a BA from Norwich University and a JD from Boston College Law School.  He is licensed to practice law in the state of Massachusetts and holds a Medicare Set-Aside Certified Consultant (MSCC) certification.
