Shane De Zilwa

Shane De Zilwa has over 25 years of analytic experience with multiple patented inventions in insurance, financial services, and engineering. Shane has been with Verisk since 2009, and currently heads up a team that develops analytic solutions for P&C and Life Insurance, using methodologies such as Predictive Modeling, Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, and Voice Analytics. Prior to Verisk, Shane held senior Analytics positions at Interthinx and FICO, and before that conducted research on combustion systems at Sandia National Laboratories and NASA Ames Research Center. Shane received his Bachelor’s degree and his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College, University of London.
