Jeff Rieder is a Partner at Aon, with overall leadership for the Ward insurance benchmarking programs.  Jeff has significant experience in the insurance industry with expertise in the property-casualty and life segments. Throughout his 29-year career, he has been involved with over 600 projects for numerous domestic and international insurance companies, covering a diverse range of performance and strategic evaluations.  Jeff leads the firm’s Ward’s 50 which analyzes the financial performance of every property-casualty and life-health insurance company in the U.S. and identifies the top performers in each segment. Prior to joining Ward in 1998, Jeff spent 5 years at Great American Insurance Company working in the corporate finance departments. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and International Business Certification from the University of Cincinnati. He is a Certified Public Accountant, Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter and Chartered Life Underwriter. Jeff lives in Cincinnati, Ohio, has 5 children and is an avid marathon runner in the process of completing a marathon in every state, with 33 states currently completed.
